The Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning at IU Bloomington provides services that support teaching and learning throughout the Bloomington Campus. With their integrated curricula and technology, they have the ability to give students the resources and materials to promote critical and analytical research skills. The CITL uses a combination of programs and personnel for constructing these courses which allows the students to overcome the challenge of cross-curriculum learning. The blending of specialites provides the CITL a way of addressing complicated teaching issues. The Center provides leadership and expertise to the students with this combination of teaching and learning. With the Center’s location being above the library, students and instructors are encouraged to collaborate with the librarians to specialize in information literacy, as well as honing their writing skills.
